Ramona Marie Carlin, born in San Francisco, CA on May 17, 1943, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021, at the age of 78.
Ramona was employed as a manager in customer service. She attended St. Henry Catholic Church. Playing cards, bingo, visiting Reno, Nevada was many of the things Ramona enjoyed. Most of all, being with her family and friends brought her so much joy.
Ramona is survived by her husband, William Carlin; daughters, Danielle Vegoren and Theresa Carlin; sisters, Pauline Jimminez; Lucy Williams; Patricia Goins; brother, Leslie Goins; grandchildren, Sonny; Kathleen; Krystal; Arman; Alani; Amelia; great-grandchildren, Braum and Lawrence.
She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Christina Carlin and sister, Louise Goins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Raphael Catholic Church in Iowa on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 10 a.m. Rev. Anthony Fontenot, Celebrant. Burial will follow in Lorrain DeRouen Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation begins in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Monday, May 31, 2021 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., with a rosary recited at 6 p.m. Visitation will resume Tuesday in the funeral home from 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.
