Ramona Faith Saltzman

September 22, 1958 — January 26, 2017

Ramona Faith Saltzman, 58, of Kinder, died Thursday in a Lake Charles Hospital;

 

Mrs. Saltzman was a native of Creole and lived in Creole for forty-four years before moving to Texas for several; years. She had lived the last four years in Kinder. Mrs. Saltzman was a graduate of South Cameron High School. While in Creole she attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

 

She leaves to cherish her memory, husband Jeffrey Saltzman; mother, Rose Mae Boudreaux; son, Shannon “Shanno” Saltzman (Kristin); brother, Eric Boudreaux (Milissa); grandchildren, Colton, Amberlee and Aiden Saltzman; godchildren, Cody Saltzman, Brendon Boudreaux and Jaycee Saltzman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

 

Mrs. Saltzman loved to entertain for family functions and to spoil her children and grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Preston Boudreaux; and sister, Cheryl Theresa Boudreaux, pioneer Cameron Parish residents.

 

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, January 30, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Creole, LA. Monsignor James Gaddy will officiate.  Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Creole.  Visitation Sunday will be from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a rosary beginning at 6:00 PM.  Visitation will resume at the funeral home Monday from 8:00 AM until 10:15 AM.
