I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7
Randolph Lawrence Kimball, 79, passed away on June 9, 2025 at 1:55p in the Southwest Louisiana War Veterans Home in Jennings, LA. surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 19, 1945 in Houma, LA to Charles Kimball Sr. and Marie Lottinger Kimball and raised in Lake Charles, La. He was very proud of his family roots and the life stories behind each leaf on the family tree. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Army serving in the Vietnam War. He then returned home to establish his career as a heavy haul truck driver. He was an avid collector of both coins and stamps. From his vast knowledge of highways and byways, he also loved to help you plan your travel routes. He loved his morning coffee with his morning paper, cutting jokes to make others laugh, and his tootsie rolls/tootsie roll pops. But his greatest love was for his family; especially his daughter whom he called his baby girl and his granddaughter whom he called the light of his life. The last two years of his life he was the definition of strength, resilience, and determination battling three types of cancer over the span of those two years while battling Dementia and Alzheimers. All while never losing his smile, his love for life, and never giving up so he could be with his family as long as he could.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Kimball Sr. and Marie Lottinger Kimball, his oldest brother Charles Kimball Jr., his godmother Dorothy (Dot) Lottinger, his aunt Shirley Lottinger, and countless loved ones before him.
Those who will cherish his loving memory are, his daughter, Lacinda May Domingue Kimball and partner Colton Elliott of Vidor, TX; his granddaughter, Bayleigh Marie Milazzo; his baby brother Daniel (Danny) Kimball of Lafayette, LA; his baby sister, Mary Donald and husband Dennis Donald of Lake Charles, LA; his nieces, Marie Kimball, Allison, and Taylor, along with all his great nephews and his great niece.
The Kimball family eternally grateful to the staff at the SWLA Veteran's Home and LAMM Hospice Family Care for the compassionate care, respect, love, and support that was shown not only to my daddy but to our whole family. You all truly gave him the best life he could've had for these last two years. You all hold a very special place within my heart and all of our hearts.
His master replied, "Well done good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things: I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your Master's happiness!" Matthew 25:21

A ceremony of honor will be held at a later date at the SWLA Veteran's Cemetery in Jennings, LA.
But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31
