Randy Lee Coker, born March 8, 1959, son of the late R.D. and Maxine (Waddle) Coker, passed away June 12, 2023, at the age of 64.
Randy graduated from Winfield High School and worked as a truck driver for Pappillion Trucking. He enjoyed fishing, wood work, watching westerns, music, and loved playing with grandkids.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Katherine Coker; son, Jimmy Hegwood; brother, David Coker; sister, Shemery Kay Coker; son-in-law, Phillip Manuel, and a grandson, Aspen Manuel.
Survivors include his children; Daniel Ponder (Jean Racine); Jacob Manuel who was like a son; Jacquelyn Manuel, Joycedine Fontenot (Alex Gilbert); Jennifer Keith and Vickie Tapp who were like daughters; brothers; Kenneth Coker, Doug Coker, Mickey Coker, Gary “Red” Coker, Donald Coker; five grandchildren; Jasper Fontenot; Molly, Minka, Zoe Keith, Lumi Davis; and his pet Lucy.
A Gathering of friends and family will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
