Randy Joseph Fogleman, Sr.

Randy Joseph Fogleman, Sr., 78, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 5, 2026, in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Born on November 3, 1947, in Lake Charles, Randy was the beloved son of C. J. and Deauty Young Fogleman, and remained deeply rooted in the community he called home throughout his life.

Randy was a hardworking and dedicated man who proudly owned and operated Lake Charles Water Well for more than forty years. Through his work, he built not only a respected business but also lasting relationships with those he served. He was a man who appreciated life’s simple pleasures, whether casting a line as an avid fisherman, enjoying a competitive game of pool, or raising exotic birds with great care.

A proud Navy veteran, Randy carried with him a quiet strength and resilience. He was known for his welcoming nature and found great joy in opening his home to family and friends. His grandchildren held a special place in his heart, and he delighted in spoiling them every chance he could. Though he could be stubborn and a bit grouchy at times, those who knew him best understood that he had a generous spirit and a genuinely big heart.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Randy Joseph “Joey” Fogleman, Jr. (Crystal); his stepdaughters, Felicia Lacomb and Veronica Rodriguez; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was welcomed into eternal rest by his parents and his beloved wife, Frances Margaret Fogleman.

Randy’s life was marked by devotion to his family, pride in his work, and a steadfast presence that will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. May his memory bring comfort to those he leaves behind, and may he rest in lasting peace.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles.
