Randy Ray Moore, Jr.

Randy Ray left this world the same way he lived in it - on his own terms, with a restless spirit and a heart of gold.

Born on October 28, 1974, Randy loved his Savior, Jesus Christ. He collected memories instead of possessions, friendships instead of addresses, and stories instead of riches. He was known for his easy smile, and the ability to make anyone feel like an old friend. He taught those around him that life isn't measured by how long you stay in one place, but by how deeply you experience the journey. 

Randy is survived by his mother and stepdad, Virginia and David Istre; children, Kora and Kade Moore, Hailey Veillon, Jenna Veillon, Kenzie Veillon; brother, Ty Istre and wife Allison; numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews.

Randy is preceded in death by father, Randy Moore Sr.; grandmother, Genevieve Chaisson.

Graveside services for Randy will be held at 10:30 AM, on Friday July 31, 2026, at Big Woods Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur. Words of comfort for the family may be left at www.johnsonfuneralhome.net.
