Randy Marie Richard Campbell

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Randy Marie Campbell, who left this world on February 17, 2026, at the age of 74. Born on November 10, 1951, in Jennings, Louisiana, Randy was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother, whose kind spirit touched the lives of many.

Randy graduated from Elton High School. Though she faced health challenges that led to her being disabled later in life, Randy's spirit remained vibrant and unyielding.

She is survived by her son, Michael Wayne Campbell and wife Kellie; her daughter, Michelle Thomas and husband Eric; her cherished sister, Rhoda Treme and husband Randy; her brother, Ruffin Richard, Jr.; and her grandchildren, Megan Campbell, William Campbell, Alice Thomas, and Charles Thomas. 

Randy had a passion for crocheting and painting, finding beauty in the threads and colors she worked with. Her creative expression was not just a hobby; it reflected the beauty she saw in the world around her.

Her funeral service will take place at Johnson Funeral Home of Iowa on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Visitation will begin on Saturday at 9:00 AM in the funeral home. Randy will be laid to rest at Liberty Cemetery in Elton, Louisiana.

In this time of sorrow, those who knew Randy are invited to remember her with fondness and to take solace in the love she spread during her time with us. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Randy was preceded in death by her parents, Ruffin Richard and Florence Fulton; her sister, Terry Ann Markley.
