Ray Anthony Fontenot

Ray Anthony Fontenot, 53 of Iowa, LA, passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021, at a local hospice care.  He was born on October 14, 1967, in Ville Platte, LA.

He is survived by his wife, Michelle Fontenot; son, Kane Fontenot; granddaughter, Hadiya Elise Fontenot; adopted son, Jovon Bowmen; sons, Drue Bowmen and Ashton Bowmen; his mother, Emily Fontenot; brothers, Donald Fontenot, and Arnold Fontenot; sisters, Diane Fontenot Williams, and Eva Mae Fontenot; a host of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews; his mother-in-law, Ms. Barbara Fontenot Vidrine; 2 brothers-in-law, Larry Balfer and Joseph Fontenot.

Ray was preceded in death by his father, Raphel Fontenot and one brother, Jeffrey Fontenot.
