Raymond John Clostio

Raymond John Clostio, Sr. passed away on August 17, 2015 in Lake Charles. Raymond was a member of Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church. He was born in Lafayette and spent most of his life in Sulphur. Raymond enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends. Raymond is survived by his wife Monica Guilbeau Clostio; son Raymond Clostio, Jr. and fiancé Christine Jordan; daughter, Angelle Clostio all of Sulphur; 5 sisters, Debra Meaux and husband Michael and Lee Ellen Toups and husband Glenn, Sr. all of Abbeville, Judy Abshire and husband Steve of Kaplan, Mary Landry and husband Lovelace of Earth, and Delores Prez and husband Carrol of Lydia; brother, Kenneth Clostio and wife Brenda of Abbeville; brother-in-law, Von Paul Guilbeau of Sulphur; mother-in-law, Joyce Guilbeau of Sulphur; children raised by Raymond and his family, Kobin, Kayden , Aubree Wallace and Tiffany Simmons; 4 godsons, Josh Clostio, Tad Meaux, Christopher Bertrand and Nathan Abshire; and 1 god-daughter, Kaitlyn Abshire. He was preceded in death by his father, Otto Clostio; his mother, Ida Mae Leger Clostio; his father-in-law, Claude "Butch" Guilbeau; his 2 brothers, Curley Clostio, and Alex Clostio, Sr. and wife Betty "Peanut"; and nephew, Bailey Jude Clostio LeMaire; sister, Barbara C. Simon and husband Clarence; brother-in-law, Shelton Foreman; nephew, Ricky Simon; and niece, Gloria Broussard. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 11 A.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Fr. Andrews Kollannoor, M.S. officiating. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 from 4-9 P.M. with a rosary at 6 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 8 A.M. until to the service. Pallbearers will be Raymond John Clostio, Jr., Austin Dupre, Jacob Dupre, Christopher Bertrand, Shannon Theriot and Steven Abshire, Jr.
