Raymond Paul Vincent

Raymond Paul Vincent, 75, of Lake Charles, LA died Sunday, August 07, 2016 in a local hospital.

Raymond was born on August 31, 1940 in Gueydan, LA to Clobule and Olite Vincent. He enjoyed the outdoors sitting on his wharf, working in his shop, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Those left to cherish his memory are his companion, Geneva Daigle; one son, Anthony Vincent and wife Mary; two daughters, Cassie Meaux and companion Kyle Lyons and Cristella Belaire; grandchildren, Bethany Vincent, Stephanie Meaux , Vince Vincent and wife Jenifer, Cami Vincent Hicks and husband Ryan, Cody Vincent and wife Maegan, Haleigh Meaux,  and Christopher Belaire; great grandchildren, Jayden and Keegan, Lucas, Kylie and Liam Vincent; sisters, Earline Guidry and husband Lee and Grace Touchet.

He is preceded in death by his parents; mother of his children, Cogie Theriot Vincent; grandchildren, Rowan, Sara, and Phillip Belaire; brothers, Rudy, Dwight, and Vinton Vincent; sister, Mary Vincent.

Pallbearers are Rod Lasiter, John Ryan Lasiter, Vince and Cody Vincent, Christopher Belaire, and Robert Henson (Alabama). Honorary Pallbearers are Stephanie and Haleigh Meaux, Bethany Vincent, Cami Vincent Hicks. Sons at heart Scott Meaux and Robert Beliare; and special friend, Anita Floyd.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Doctors and staff at Memorial Hospital.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Ethel Precht Breast Cancer Foundation.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at St. Margaret Catholic Church. Visitation will begin at 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a 6:00 PM rosary on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will resume at 8:00 AM until 12:30 PM Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will be at Consolata Cemetery. Father Aubrey Guilbeau will officiate services.
