Iowa – Rena was born to the union of Jim Bellard and Ivy (Richard) Bellard, the third child of this union of Iowa, LA. Rena married Paul “Tiny” Crockett on April 10, 1971.

She is preceded in death are her parents; sisters, Hazel Simon, Ella Vital; daughter, Stella Celestine, godchild, Lawrence Simon.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories daughter, Constance (Keith) Celestine Greene; 3 grandkids, Joshua (Leslie) Greene, Kelcy (Tyler) Chavis, Conner Greene all of Iowa, LA; 8 great-grandchildren, Ava, Aleena, Anthony, Weslynn, Jolie, Wyatt, Kylie, Keely; along with her “Arkansas boys” Grifford, Antione, Richard, Joseph; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Rena departed from earth in her home. Rena was hard working and worked in the medical tech field. She retired from Owen & Minors in 2007.

Rena loved her entire family. She loved to cook while hosting back yard parties along with pitty pat games. She was also a very talented seamstress. Rena was a member of St. Peter Claver Church of Iowa.

The family would like to sincerely thank St. Joseph Hospice for the care and compassion for their mother.

A Mass of Christian burial is Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 11 a.m. in St. Peter Claver Catholic Church of Iowa. Rev. Pradeep Gali, Celebrant. Burial will follow in Lacassine Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.

Visitation begins Saturday, March 13, 2021 in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa, from 8 a.m. – 10 p.m., with a rosary recited at 10 a.m.
