Richard Allen Simon

Richard Allen Simon, 64, of Lake Charles passed away Friday, June 1, 2012 at 4:10 PM in a local hospital.

A life-long resident of Lake Charles, he was a veteran of the United States Army, Blackhorse division from 1968-1970. An avid fisherman, he loved spending time with family and friends on Toledo Bend.

Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Ludie Babineaux Simon; father, Johnny Simon; nephew, John Simon and daughter, Beth Keeley.

Richard is survived by his wife of years, Nadine Simon; brother, Robert Simon and wife JoAnn; sister, Lorraine Bertrand and fiance' Blair; two daughters, Rebecca White and husband Jason and Sonni Hearon and fiance', Daniel Mayes; grandchildren, Carley and Dalton White and Nicholas Hearon; nephew, Alex Simon; great niece, Lily Simon and favorite aunt, Lula Mae Sonnier.

In respect to Mr. Simon's wishes, the body was cremated. Johnson Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
