Richard Presutti,69, passed away June 23, 2018 at a local hospital.
Richard Presutti owned and operated Gator Gun and Knife Store in Sulphur since 1992 and the Lake Charles Gun and Knife Shows at the civic center with his wife Donnie Presutti. He was a firm believer in the second amendment’s right to bear arms. He was treasurer of the SETPS shooting club in Orange, TX. He enjoyed shooting in the pistol matches. He also was a car enthusiast owning many Mustangs, Corvettes, and recently a Camaro. He was a drag racer in his early days when he owned The Parts House in Westlake, la.
Survivors are his wife, Donnie Presutti; daughter, Lisa Ide and husband Garrett; son Ed Presutti; step daughter, Allison Derouen May and husband David; grandchildren, Katie Ide, Alex Ide, Eric Ide, Samantha May, Christian May, and Jonathan May; 2 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded him in death was his parents Elizabeth Landry and Isadore Presutti.
A funeral service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home at 10AM on Wednesday, June 27, 2018. Burial will follow at Prien Memorial Park. Rev. Charlie Willis will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5PM to 8PM on Tuesday, June 26. Visitation will resume Wednesday morning at 9AM until the start of the service.
