Richard Harland Loftin

Richard Harland Loftin, 78, passed away in a local care facility on Monday, December 21, 2020.

He was born on March 24, 1942 in DeRidder, LA to Richard and Virginia Loftin. Richard went above and beyond to help anyone he encountered with a need. He is said to have never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone he met. He will be greatly missed.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Richard Loftin, II (Christine), Shane Loftin, Harla Loftin (Wyman Rosener), and Veronica Flippo (Rev. Donny); grandchildren; great-grandchildren; one brother; two sisters; nieces; nephews; and other loving family members.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Brenda Long Loftin; parents; and brother, John Loftin.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Birdnest Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff.
