Rickey Dane Clark

Rickey Dane Clark, 71, of Iowa passed away at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 in a local hospital.

Mr. Clark was born on July 22, 1945 in Lake Charles, LA where he resided most of his life. He attended Kinder High School before serving in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Clark was a member of Eastwood Pentecostal Church.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He cherished his time spent with family and he especially loved being with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Those left to cherish his memory are a daughter, Dana Heinen (Mark) of Fenton; a sister, Joan Ewing of Lake Charles; two grandsons, Cade and Will Heinen; his loving companion of 20 years, Jean Nix of Iowa and her family which include four daughters, one son; fifteen grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vida and B.L. Clark and a granddaughter, Alexis Kathryn “Alex” Heinen.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, June 23, 2017 at Eastwood Pentecostal Church. Pastor Aaron Lopez will officiate. Visitation will begin on Friday in the church from 4:00 PM until the start of the service. A private burial will take place in Hebert Cemetery in Hecker, LA under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
