Ricky Layne Bellon

Ricky Layne Bellon, 65, passed away on November 6, 2024 surrounded by his family.

He was born on January 5, 1959 in Lake Charles, LA. He was a lifelong resident of Moss Bluff where he graduated from Sam Houston High School. Ricky enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and served on the Financial Board at St. Theodore Catholic Church. He was a loving husband, father, and Pop. He enjoyed watching his granddaughters compete in their favorite activities.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 47 years, Pam Bellon; children, Dustin Bellon (Jill) and Lexee Clark (Joey); beloved granddaughters, Micah and Demi Bellon, Karsyn and Kali Clark; brothers, Gary and Scott Bellon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sonny and Rose Bellon; in-laws, Edward and Pearl Mallett. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Margaret Catholic Church on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Aubrey Guilbeau will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, November 8, 2024 at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. A rosary will be recited at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff Friday at 6 p.m. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to St. Theodore Catholic Church Building Fund.
