Ricky Dale Long

Ricky Dale Long, 63, passed away on October 11, 2017 at a local hospital.

Mr. Long was a graduate of Ft. Towson High School in Oklahoma. Ricky was a long-time employee of McManus Construction. In his free time, he enjoyed barbequing with friends and his dog, Bone.

He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Hester of Arkansas; two sons, Brandon Long and wife Kourtney of Moss Bluff, and Brett Long of Grand Lake; nine grandchildren; father, Otis Long and wife Pansy of Moss Bluff; sister, Lisa Landry of Sulphur; brother, Johnny Long of Conroe, TX; and numerous aunts, uncles, and nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Johnnie Mae Long; and sister, Charlotte J Long.

A memorial service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home at 12PM on Thursday, October 19, 2017. Rev. Ronnie Estes will officiate. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin that Thursday morning at 10:30AM until the start of the service.
