Rita Marie Benoit Stelly

Rita Marie Stelly, 56, of Lake Charles, LA, died at 10:56 AM on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 in her residence.

Mrs. Stelly was born March 22, 1963 in Lake Charles, LA, where she was a lifelong resident.  She loved music and dancing.  She also enjoyed spending time on her porch watching the squirrels and birds.  Mrs. Stelly was a lady of faith and spirituality who loved being around her grandchildren and was well loved by her family.  She leaves behind a legacy of life lessons.

Mrs. Stelly is survived by her son, Brian Benoit; daughter, Melissa Marie Benoit; grandson, Jacob Thompson Benoit; step-grandchildren, Ariana Wardal and McKayla Talley; brother, Donald Benoit; and dear friend, Pamela Woodward.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Theresa Benoit.

She will have a celebration of life at a later date.
