Rita Sonnier, born in Port Arthur, Texas on June 23, 1948, daughter of Henry and Verna LeBlanc Walters, passed away June 12, 2023, in Beaumont, Texas, at the age of seventy-four.
She is survived by her sons, James Anderson, Joseph Anderson, and Heath Anderson; siblings, Robert Walters, Billie O’Terrel, Mary Lopez, and Maggie Nixon; seven grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
Rita is preceded in death by her parents, and spouse, Larry Sonnier.
She enjoyed going to flea markets and attending River of Life in Moss Bluff, LA.
Cremation was entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
