Robert Paul "Bob" Bush Sr.

Iowa – Robert Paul “Bob” Bush, Sr., born in Chicago, IL, November 15, 1956, son of the late Joseph Walter and Jean Barbara (Brazauskas) Bush, passed away Monday, October 29, 2018, in a local hospital at the age of 61.
Bob was graduate of St. Mary’s University and received his Ph. D. from Louisiana State University. He was an associate dean at Houston Baptist University. He enjoyed traveling and following the Chicago Cubs. Bob was a member of First United Methodist Church of Iowa.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Micheal Alan Grout Bush and fiancé, Libby Michelle Peet, of Iowa; and Robert Paul “Bobby” Bush, Jr. of Iowa; brothers, Alan Joseph Bush and wife, Victoria Davies Bush and their daughter, Alexandra Joan Bush, of Memphis, TN; and Stan Bush and wife, Marie, of Winona, MN; grandson, Jaxon Paul Bush. He is preceded in death by his wife, Donny Kathleen Bush and his parents.
Funeral services are Friday, November 2, 2018 11 a.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa with Dr. Doug Ezell officiating. Burial will follow in Pinehill Cemetery.
Visitation is Thursday in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., and will resume Friday from 8 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
