Robert Bridge, Jr.

Robert LeRoy Bridge Jr., 71, of Sulphur, LA died on July 8, 2025, in his residence surrounded by his loving family after an illness. He was born on March 22, 1954, in Indiana to Robert and Mary Bridge Sr.

Robert loved being around family and friends as well as enjoying the open roads with his late wife Lisa. He worked in the petrochemical industry for over 30 plus years and was an operator working most of his time at Conoco. Robert also had an interest in tinkering on cars.

Those left to cherish his memory are his 4 children, Emily Bridge Wallace and husband Jody, Robert Bridge III, Jessica Bowers and fiancé Byron Thibodeaux, Rebekah Kelley and husband Bryen; 6 grandchildren, Ian Smith, Claire Smith, Mia Wallace, Kira Osorio, Zane Gaspard, and Jillian Harper; 3 great grandchildren, Eli Connor Presley Wallace and Taysom Smith and two on the way; two siblings, Cindy Powell and Vicky Collings.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Lisa Bridge and parents.

Memorial services will be held at 3:30 PM Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur. The gathering of friends and family will be from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Wednesday at Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur.
