Iowa ~ Robert Lova Busby, Jr., born April 24, 1962, son of Robert Lova Busby, Sr. and Audrey Disotell Busby, passed away Friday, August 31, 2018, at the age of 56.
Robert was born in Freeport, Texas and lived in Iowa. He was a graduate of Iowa High School, Class of 1982 and worked for many years for Brock & Turner. Robert enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Newman Busby; father, Robert Lova Busby, Sr.; siblings, Freddy W. Busby, Raymond E. Busby and Brenda Lee Busby Logston.
Survivors are his mother, Audrey R. Disotell Busby; sisters, Belinda Grove and husband, Bob of Iowa, Patricia Oden of Iowa, Pamela McClelland and husband, Michael of Springfield, Missouri.
Visitation is Saturday, September 08, 2018 in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 1 p.m. Pastors Otis “O. B.” Marsh and Rick Batchelor will officiate. Cremation is under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help with expenses.
