Robert Meril Camden, 44, of Lake Charles passed away Saturday, January 28, 2017 in the comfort of his home.
Robbie was born and raised and lived most of his life in Austin, TX. He has lived the past six years in Lake Charles where he has worked as an Aircraft Technician. He worked many years offshore. For fun, Robbie loved visiting the Sixth Street Texas Relay, the casino and riding around listening to music. Robbie had a big heart and a gift of giving, listening, guidance and advice. “He always seemed to be there right when you needed him.” He will be most remembered for his sense of humor.
He leaves to honor his memory, his loving wife of 26 years, Veronica Jackson Camden of Lake Charles; one daughter, Courtney Camden of Lake Charles; one son, Jacori “Cori” Camden of Lake Charles; his mother, Diana Boner Fisher and husband David of Elgin, TX; three brothers, Ray Gene Camden, Jr. and wife Christina, Danny Boy Presley and Willie Presley, Jr., both of Austin, TX; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Vernon and Erma Jackson, of Lake Charles and a large extended family.
Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM Friday, February 03, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation Friday will be from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM in the funeral home.
