Robert Michael King

Robert Michael “Mike” King, 62, of Lake Charles passed away Sunday, December 13, 2015 in a local hospital following a brief battle with cancer.   Mike was born on August 4, 1953 in Lake Charles where he lived all of his life. He was a graduate of Lake Charles High School and also of McNeese State University. He retired from Cities Service as an electrician several years ago.   Survivors include an aunt, Charlotte Lee and cousins, James “Jim” Lee and John Lee of Scott, LA and James Anderson and Susan Miori of Victoria, TX.   He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Robert and Genevieve King and a brother, Patrick King.   A gathering of family and friends will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 17, 2015 in the mausoleum of Highland Memory Garden Cemetery. Burial was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
