Robert W. Yentzen, Jr.

Robert Willie Yentzen Jr., 71, passed away on November 20, 2017 in the comfort of his own home and surrounded by his loving family.

Bill was a lifetime resident of the Lake Charles area and worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for Olin Chemical and Lyondel Corporation. He was a member of the IBEW Local Union 861. He enjoyed working on electrical appliances and did many side jobs for friends and family. In his later years Bill enjoyed relaxing with his coffee and a cigarette.

He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Celina Yentzen; two sons, Ronald Ray Yentzen and wife Tina; and Russell Jason Yentzen; two sisters, Ruth Ann Barrios and husband Jay, and Donna Gail Higginbotham and husband Billy Joe; and eight grandchildren, Chase, Rusty, Kaitlyn, Makenzie, Dallas, Gabby, Dustin, and Gavin.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert W. Yentzen Sr. and Shirley Ruth Daily Williams; and brother, David Yentzen.

A funeral service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home at 1PM on Saturday, November 25, 2017. Rev. Ronnie Estes will officiate. Burial will follow at Old Ritchie Cemetery. Visitation will begin that Saturday morning at the funeral home at 10AM.
