Iowa ~ Robin A. Andrus, loving wife, mother, sister, and friend, born October 16, 1959, daughter of the late Daniel Lee Trahan, Sr. and Willia Jean (Martin) Trahan), passed away Friday, August 7, 2020, at the age of 60.
Robin was a graduate of Welsh High School and attended Clark College. She worked for many years at the Lacassine Lodge. Robin enjoyed playing bingo and getting her nails done.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Juanita Gradney; brother & sister-in-law, Darrell & Diane Trahan; niece, Toni Trahan; mother & father-in-law, R. J. & Audra Andrus; sister-in-law, Pam Andrus; sister-in-love, Ruth Ann Trahan.
Robin is survived by her husband of 23 years, Rayford Andrus; children, Stacy Sonnier (Jake) of Crowley; Daniel Romero of Church Point; siblings, Stephanie Granger (Dudley); Linda Marcantel (Gumbo); Daniel Lee Trahan, Jr., all of Welsh; grand dog, Marley James.
Visitation will begin on Monday, August 10, 2020 in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. and will resume on Tuesday from 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Pat Deshotel officiating. Burial will follow in Hayes Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Pallbearers assisting in her service are: D. J. Trahan; Jake Comeaux; Justin Andrus; Jaxson Trahan; Aiden Johnson; Richard Molbert. Serving as honorary: Rayford Andrus; Daniel Romero; Daniel Trahan, Jr.
