Robin Hidalgo

Robin Denise Hidalgo, 51, passed away on September 21, 2021.  

She was born on December 2, 1969 to Gene and Beverly Vincent Romero. 

Robin lived her life with an abundance of love and passion. She devoted much of her time to volunteering for her children's school and girl scout activities when they were younger. The relationship she had with her grandchildren was filled with joy and laughter. Her ability to listen and provide support and compassion for others was one of her greatest attributes. Her days were not complete without at least one cup of Community Coffee, and her love for football, the Astros, fishing, camping, and car racing held a special place in her heart. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Beverly Romero. 

She is survived by her loving husband, Chris Hidalgo; daughters, Brittany Duhamel (Max) and Jordan Johnson; stepsons, Jeremy Cionek and Daron Hidalgo; grandchildren, Tatum, Cross, Baylor, Kingston, Jennifer, Kendra, Benjamin, Zoey, Kyah, Kobe, and Brayden; father, Gene Romero; siblings, Ernest Romero, Deborah Weeks, and James Romero; and beloved dog, Sandra. 

Her funeral service will be held at University Baptist Church on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 1 p.m. Burial will follow the service in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the start of the service.
