Roger Dale Faulk

Roger Dale Faulk, 68, passed away on February 18, 2019 surrounded by his family.

Mr. Faulk is a 1968 graduate of Marion High School. After high school he served his country in the Vietnam War with the United States Army. Roger then worked and retired with Citgo after 38 years of service and was a member of the IBEW Union. Mr. Faulk had a servant’s heart and enjoyed helping others using his skills as an electrician. He always enjoyed having company over and he loved his wife’s dog, Gabby.

Mr. Faulk is survived by his wife of 47 years, Hilda Faulk; two daughters, Stephanie Bennett and her husband, Charles, and Kelly Trosclair; brother, Gene Faulk; and five grandchildren, Ashleigh Strahan, Brennon Trosclair, Annmarie Bennett, Benjamin Bennett, and Julianna Trosclair.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Opal Faulk; two brothers, Steven Faulk, and Scott Faulk; and sister, Lou Wanna Parra.

A funeral service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 10AM. Brother Charles Manuel will officiate. Following the service cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home and a private burial will be held at Old Ritchie Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 20 from 4PM to 8PM and will continue Thursday morning at 9AM until the start of the service.
