Roger Joachim Richard

Roger Joachim Richard, 64, of Lake Charles, LA, died at 10:04 PM on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 in a local hospital.

Mr. Richard was born May 4, 1955 and has lived most of his life in Lake Charles. He was a 1973 graduate of Lake Charles High School. He loved music and loved listening to the music at Water’s Edge Fellowship. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Mr. Richard is survived by his brother, Rickey Richard and wife Alaina of lake Charles; and two daughters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Windel and Salvador Tramonte Richard; and sister, Therese Henry.

His funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 31, 2019 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon Harold Nixon will officiate. Burial will follow in Orange Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 PM until the start of the service.
