Ronald Charles Coppels

Ronald Charles Coppels, 61, of Vinton passed away on April 20, 2016. He was a member of Welsh United Methodist Church in Vinton, the Chamber of Commerce, the Jaycees, and a past volunteer fireman for the town of Vinton. Ronald loved to fish, play softball and the beach.

Ronald is survived by his daughter, Morgan Coppels; his son, Ryan Coppels; his sister, Becky Johnson and husband Ricky; his brother, Gary Coppels and wife Deb; his best long-time friend, Shawn Camara; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Yvonne Coppels; his sister, Charlene Istre; and his nephew, Christopher Johnson.

 A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Welsh United Methodist Church in Vinton at 2 P.M. with Rev. Roger Templeton officiating. A gathering will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 from 4-9 P.M. at Welsh United Methodist Church in Vinton and will continue on Sunday from 1 P.M. until time of the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Welsh United Methodist Church in Vinton.
