Ronald Lee Fontenot
June 25, 1957 — April 13, 2025
Ronald Lee Fontenot, born in Lake Charles on June 25, 1957, son of the late Joseph Alvin Fontenot and Sally LeBleu Fontenot, passed away in a local hospital on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at the age of sixty-seven.
A dedicated truck driver, Ronald enjoyed watching westerns, mowing grass, hunting, fishing, and giving his family a hard time!
He was a member of East Ridge Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, godchild, J. J. Fontenot, and great-grandchild, Oscar Cummings.
Ronald is survived by his wife of thirty-eight years, Margaret Trahan Fontenot; children, Dani Jo LeBlanc (Robert), Alisha Cormier (Joe), and Wesley Fontenot (Bailey Pruitt); siblings, Carlyss Snyder, Wayne Fontenot (Julie), Donald Fontenot (Susan), and Celeste Landry (Danny); eleven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 6 p.m. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation begins in the funeral home at 4 p.m. Visitation will continue until 8 p.m. after the service.
