Ronald Lee Hughes, Jr. of Casselberry, Florida, a native of Westlake, passed away Monday, April 1, 2024, at the age of fifty-four.
Ron, a graduate of Westlake High School and McNeese State University, was a loving son, father, and friend to all he met. He enjoyed working out, playing golf, and all things LSU.
Ron was born in Lake Charles on December 12, 1969, son of Ronald and Virgie Landry Hughes, Sr.
Ron is survived by his father, Ronald Lee Hughes, Sr., of Westlake; son, Jackaustin Clark Hughes of Florida; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and devoted friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Virgie Landry Hughes.
Funeral services will be in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 1 p.m... Pastor Alan Weishampel, officiant. Cremation will follow the service under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation begins Saturday in the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m.
