Ronald James Chaisson, Sr.

Ronald James Chaisson, Sr. 61, of Sulphur passed away on November 16, 2019 in his residence surrounded by his loving family. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, wood working, and carpentry. Ronald loved spending time with his family and friends.

Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Connie Welch Chaisson; son, R J Chaisson and wife Jessica all of Sulphur; 5 grandchildren, Gayge Hodges, Kaleigh Manard, Trace Chaisson, Kenzie Manard and Kassidy Manard; 1 great grandchild, Ember Manard; loving aunt, Dee Dee Issac; sister-in-law, Donna Duhon and husband Ronnie; step sister, Connie Trahan; niece and nephew, Jamie Trahan Prejean and Travis Trahan; god-sons, James Hebert and Matthew Chassion. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Barbara Vincent.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019 at 1 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with Father Andrews Kollannoor, M.S. officiating. Burial will be in Farquhar Cemetery under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 4-8 P.M. with a rosary at 6 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Friday, November 22 at 11 A.M. until time of the service.
