Ronald Lee Harrington

Ronald L. "Ronnie" Harrington, 72, of Holmwood, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2015 in a local hospital. He was a native and life resident of Holmwood and worked as a farmer and cattleman all his life. Ronnie was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Bell City, Survivors include his daughter, Tammy Semar and husband Kenneth; step-daughter, Diane Plott Miller and husband Harold; four grandchildren, Lance Semar and fiancée Chelsea, Damon Semar and wife Christy, Kristy Semar, and Alyssa Page; eleven great grandchildren; brother, Randy Harrington and wife Ellen and his sister, Brenda Sibille and husband Butch. He is preceded in death by his wife, Loraine Barbara Harrington and his parents, Floyd Lee and Edna Romero Harrington. His Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 15, 2015 in St. John Vianney Catholic Church. Reverend Emanuel Tanu will officiate. Burial will be in Derouen-Lorrain Cemetery in Hayes, LA. Visitation will be at Johnson funeral home from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Tuesday, with a Rosary being recited at 6:30 PM, and continue from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
