Ronda Raymond Jones

Ronda Raymond Jones, born September 7, 1955, the son of the late Irvin
(TeTe) Jones and Lucy D. Jones went home to be with the Lord on May 16,
2021 at the age of 65 years old.

Ronda had many jobs before his illness and disabilities: M & M Produce of
Lacassine, LA., Halliburton Co., Mermentau, LA., BFI in Port Arthur, Texas
and SBA Shipyard, and was a local Cement Finisher.

He was of the Catholic Faith and he became a part of the Knights of Columbus
in November 1994. Ronda became a 3rd degree Knight in the organization
and later because of ill health became a Honorary member of the Knights of
Columbus. Ronda enjoyed having fun. He loved dancing to all types of music,
especially Zydeco and playing his tambourine.

He is survived by his loving mother, Lucy Davis Jones, his son Roderick
Damon Jones, siblings: Cynthia J. Goodly (BFF James Carlin), Twin Sister
Rondelian Gayle Brown, Eleanor Shanell Jones, Kelly Jones Williams (Preston
Jr.), Mervin Jones (Annette), Foster Brother Felix Moore (Diane), a host of
Nieces, Uncles, Aunts, Nephews, Cousins and Friends. He was proceeded in
death by his Father (Irvin Jones), Son (Dominic Jones) and Nephew (Preston
Williams III).

Funeral Services will be held in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa
Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 11 a.m., Father John Payne, Celebrant. Burial
will follow in Lorraine DeRouen Cemetery. Visitation begins Wednesday, in
Johnson & Brown Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
