Rosa Vincent Perry

Rosa Vincent Perry, 72, of Westlake, LA died Friday, November 15, 2019 in the comfort of her home.

Mrs. Perry was a native of Lowry, LA and lived most of her life in the Lake area. She was a graduate of Sulphur High School. She was a talented floral designer and worked fifty years for many florists throughout the area. Following her retirement, she began filing income taxes. Mrs. Perry enjoyed camping in SWLA and SETX and traveling the country with her husband. Her favorite past times were crocheting, sewing and flower gardening. Her greatest times were spent following her husband’s band and dancing to his music. She will be most remembered for her love and devotion to her family, her welcoming spirit and her specialty dishes made specific to the favorites of each member of her family.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of fifty-three years, Rodney Gilbert Perry of Westlake; mother, Ella Authement Vincent of Lake Arthur; two sons, Greg Perry and Mark Perry of Westlake; one daughter, Debra LeBert of Westlake; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; five brothers, Henry “Butch” Vincent, Allen “BooBoo” Vincent; Wilbert Vincent, Johnny Vincent and C.J. Vincent; four sisters, Marie Kershaw, Linda Nichols, Sarah East and Betty Vincent. She also leaves many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Thozime Vincent and one brother, Jimmy Vincent.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Monday November 18, 2019 at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home in Sulphur, LA. Pastor Sheri Zehner will officiate. Interment will follow in Mimosa Pines Cemetery North. Visitation Sunday will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and will resume Monday from 8:00 AM until the time of the service in the funeral home.
