Rosalie Sayge Elise Hartstine

Rosalie Sayge Elise Hartstine, 1, of Lake Charles, LA was born on March 20, 2024, and passed away on June 30, 2025.

Rosalie was a bright, loving, and vibrant little girl, with the biggest smile and most beautiful eyes that were sure to light up any room. Rosalie loved being around her family and watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. She also enjoyed just being outside and loved butterflies, and of course the goats and chickens. Her favorite activity was running around and trying to keep up with all of her cousins and playing peek-a-boo from behind the curtains.

Rosalie was very active and curious, she had a knack for quickly figuring things out, like how to find those hidden buttons and operate the electric recliners and her little sassy personality was sure to make you laugh. Our “Rosie’s” life was cut short and has left a void in our lives that can never be filled, but the impression she made will live on in our hearts and memories forever. Rosalie will be missed more than words could ever describe.

Those left to cherish her loving memory are her parents, Damon Hartstine and Heaven Thompson; Great-grandparents Bobby and Robin Sarver of West Virginia; grandparents, Lori Allemand and the late Victor Allemand of Sulphur, LA; Kevin and Stacy Hartstine of Sulphur, LA; Micheal Thompson of Merryville, LA; Rosalie is also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, July 6, 2025, at Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Saturday, July 5,2025 at Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur. Visitation will resume on Sunday from 12:00 PM until the time of services at the funeral home. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur following services.
