Rose Ann Constance Burch

Rose Ann Constance Burch, 71, of Lake Charles passed away at 10:35 AM on Thursday, April 29, 2021 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Burch was born on August 30, 1949 in Lake Charles.  She was raised in Holly Beach and was a graduate of Johnson Bayou High School.  In her earlier years, she worked in the kitchen at Zapata.  Mrs. Burch was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.

She enjoyed going to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and watching motorcycle racing and riding through the Black Hills on motorcycle.  Her greatest love was her four grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 50 years, Gerald Burch; children, Monica Burch Ancelet (Lenard Jeane) and Mark Burch (Michelle); siblings, MaeDoris Constance Little and John T. Constance; and four beloved grandchildren, Tanner Ancelet, and Dallas, Dilyn, and Dakota Burch.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vida and Peter Constance, Jr.; siblings, Gene, J.P., and Wayne “Unk” Constance; and four grandchildren, twins Ethan and Kaleb Ancelet, and Jarrett and Mason Burch.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Hackberry.  Fr. Arvind Minz, HGN will officiate.  Burial will follow in New Hackberry Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.  Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM in the church and continue until the start of the service with a rosary being recited at 10:30 AM.
