Rose Marie Ange Roper

Rose Marie Ange Roper, 75, of Lake Charles passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 in Welsh, LA.

Mrs. Roper was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Those left to cherish her memory are her spouse of 59 years Leroy Roper of Lake Charles; two daughters, Kathy Menard and Warren LeJeune of Moss Bluff and Gail Richard and husband Ronnie of Moss Bluff; a son, Leroy Roper, Jr. of Lake Charles; a brother, Casey Ange, Jr. and wife Sandra of Lake Charles; six grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Casey Ange and a sister, Nola May Ange Cholley.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 19, 2013 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Chris Fuselier will officiate. Burial will follow in Prien Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Thursday from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a rosary being recited at 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Friday from 8:00 AM until the start of the service.
