Rose Mary Moory Lebleu

Rose Mary Moory LeBleu, 80, of Lake Charles, LA, died at 9:01 PM on Saturday, April 1, 2017 in a local hospital.

Mrs. LeBleu was born January 30, 1937 in Opelousas, LA and has lived in Lake Charles for over fifty years. She graduated from the Opelousas Academy of the Immaculate Conception. She was a past member of St. Landry Catholic Church and attended Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Mrs. LeBleu retired as a Louisiana licensed florist, spending some of her career at Funk’s Flowers and A Daisy A Day. She was a former member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary #2436 and #2130 and the Fraternal Order of the Police. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. Her true passion in life was being a wife and mother, as she will be dearly missed.

Mrs. LeBleu is survived by her husband of sixty-three years, Floyd Jack LeBleu, Sr.; children, Pamela Jean LeBleu Ramirez and Sergio, Floyd Jack LeBleu, Jr. and wife Tammy, Kenneth Wayne LeBleu, and Sheila Faye LeBleu Luquette and husband Danny; sister, Gloria Mae Moory Elliott; grandchildren, Alisha Rose LeBleu McClelland, Corey Paul LeBleu, Gloria Rose Ramirez, Ronald Edward Stockman, II, Marie Nicole Stockman, Aubrey LeBleu and Kaylee LeBleu; great-grandchildren, Kaydence Rose McClelland and Rylee Rose Stockman; God-son and cousin, Jacob E. LeBleu, Jr.; and neighbor and close friend, Mark Theron Bourque.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Lelia Credeur Moory; and brother, Sidney J. Moory.

Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon Harold Nixon will officiate. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday at Bellevue Memorial Park Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Opelousas, LA. Visitation will be at Johnson Funeral Home on Monday from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a rosary at 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Tuesday from 8:00 AM until the start of the service.
