Iowa – Roxe Anna Richard Guillory, loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, born January 29, 1953, daughter of the late Jesse Lee and Georgia Helen (Bondick) Richard, passed away with her granddaughter’s, Breanna Chaisson and Daryin Broussard by her side on Friday, July 31, 2020 at the age of 67.
Roxe Anna was a graduate of LaGrange. She worked in sales, selling insurance for Security National and was the office administrator for Iowa TV & Appliance Repair. She devoted her life to her children and grandchildren. Family was everything to her! When her health allowed, she attended Church of the Promise in Iowa with her family. Sewing, listening to music and cooking for her family brought her great joy.
Roxe Anna leaves to cherish her wonderful memory her children, Timothy Richard (Tracy) of Sulphur; Christopher Bertrand of Sulphur; Brandy Broussard of LeBleu Settlement; siblings, Jessica Benoit; Zelda Chaisson; Rosalind Richard; Vanessa Richard; Maura Cassia (Tim); Jaime Richard (Cece); Jeanne Arville; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Kaylee Richard.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2020 in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Cremation will follow the service under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
Due to new restrictions from the State of Louisiana, Governor John Bel Edwards, the gathering capacity will be limited and face coverings will be required.
