Roxie Ann Stephens

Roxie Anna “Charlie” Stephens, 57, of Sulphur passed away on May 23, 2017 in a local care center. Roxie was a graduate of Sulphur High School and was of the Baptist faith. She had a big heart, loved her flowers, and especially animals, but horses were her passion.

Roxie is survived by her son, Jacob Stephens and wife Jade; daughter, Anna Rose Stephens; mother, Alice Lewis Stephens; brother, Aaron Stephens and wife Jackie; 2 grandchildren, Ryder and Ayla Stephens; Johnny Marcotte, her companion of 20 years and father to Anna Rose; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many special cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Aaron Stephens, Sr.; her brother, Lewis Stephens; and the father to her son, Jeffrey Bourg.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 10 A.M. with Rev. Lonnie Gothrup officiating at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Burial will be at 1:30 P.M. in Pine Island Cemetery in Simpson, LA under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 26, 2017 from 6-9 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with visitation continuing on Saturday, May 27 at 9 A.M. until time of the service.
