Roy Stout

Roy Stout, 86, of Lake Charles, LA entered into eternal peace and went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 25, 2015. Roy was born on December 10, 1928 in Dequincy, LA to Robert and Lillie Stout. Roy was known for his generosity and love for family and friends. He had a strong faith and was a devoted Gideon and deacon of Sale Street Baptist Church. He was also the proud owner of Stout Real Estate and enjoyed being an avid salesman. He is survived by three sons, Robert Lynn Stout of Lake Charles, LA, Roger Loy Stout of Orlando, FL, and Randall Louis Stout of Lake Charles, LA; five grand children, Robbie, Hobin, Jarib, Andrew, and Alexander; and many great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of many years, Ruth Delaine Stout; one brother, Philmer Johnson; and his constant canine companion, Jeffrey. Services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens. Rev. Hugh Wallace will officiate services.
