LeBleu Settlement – Rustin Joseph “Rusty” Romero, born in Lake Charles on August 5, 1961, son of Rose Mae Guillory, passed away October 9, 2021, at the age of 60.
Rusty, a graduate of Mamou High School and Delta Tech, was the owner of Creative Creations. He was a member of the Christian Knights and was an ordained minister. He was a gifted tattoo artist and a 2nd degree Shotokan black belt. Rusty loved collecting trains, tattooing, and spending time with his grand babies.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Rusty is survived by his wife of 27 years, Connie Romero; children, Joey Romero, Jr. (Kimber); Kaitlynn Romero (AJ); Crystal Ardoin (Mitchell); brother, Jeffery Blanchard (Nittie); three grandchildren.
Celebration of Life for Rusty is Tuesday, October 12, 2021, in Johnson and Brown Funeral Home in Iowa at 1 p.m. with Charles Manuel officiating. Visitation begins Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Cremation will follow the service under the direction of Johnson and Brown Funeral Home in Iowa
