Ruth Ann Sittig Falcon, born in Welsh on November 12, 1938, daughter of the late Frank and Lena (Miller) Sittig, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2023, at the age of 84.
Ruth was a graduate of Iowa High School and attended cosmetology school in Jennings. She worked as a beautician for many years. Ruth enjoyed cooking, reading, and watching humming birds.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carroll Falcon; brother, Ernest Sittig.
Survivors are her daughter, Roxanne Guidry (Pete); brother, Rusty Sittig (Vonceil); sister, Dorothy Augustine (Wendall); grandchildren, Jody, Cody, Nick; great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Jake, Asa, Brooks.
A celebration of life was held in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 3 p.m. Inurnment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery at a later date. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
