Lake Charles ~ Ryan Glenn Little, 33, passed away Friday, August 11, 2017.

Born in Lake Charles on March 14, 1984, Ryan was the son of Randy & Donna (Bridges) Little.

Ryan was a graduate of Sam Houston High School and was a member of the Louisiana High School Rodeo Association for 4 years. He competed at the National High School Finals in the bareback event. He was an active 4-H Club/FFA member for 11 years and he raised and showed black angus cattle. Ryan competed on the parish, state and national levels.

He received an associate’s degree from Hill College in Hillsborough, Texas and was a member of the rodeo team. He also attended Sam Houston State University as a member of the rodeo team and awarded full scholarship and member of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association. He competed in the Southern Region and went on to compete at the National level. Ryan was a professional bareback rider in the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association. He enjoyed training horses and raising cattle.


Ryan is survived by his parents. Randy and Donna Bridges Little; sister, Kyla Kaye Little; grandmothers, Gloria Parker and Marguerite Little; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who will cherish his memory.
He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Frank Bridges, L. A. Little and Malcolm Parker.

Visitation begins Monday, August 14, 2017 from 4 p.m. – 10 p.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home ~ Iowa and will resume Tuesday from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. Funeral services are Tuesday at 11 a.m. Pastor Tony Bourque will officiate. Burial will follow in Creel Cemetery. Pallbearers assisting in his service are Scott & Chad Bridges, Bobby Little, Ryan Broussard, Danny McDowell, Josh Guidry, Dickie Ackle, Art Little, Pistol Robinson, Jarod Craig, Casey Witherspoon and Ross Edmonds.
