Ryan Scott Earhart

Ryan Scott Earhart, 22, of Lake Charles passed away Thursday, January 22, 2015 as a result of injuries from a car accident. Ryan was a lifelong native of Lake Charles. He attended Barbe and Iowa High Schools and worked in the Construction Industry. Ryan was a talented athlete, having played for the Junior Ice Pirates, Junior Ice Gators, LA Sharp Shooters and also enjoyed playing with the local recreational team. He was often the "life of the party" as he loved to have a good time and especially loved to make people laugh. Ryan had a way of brightening the spirit of any room he entered and will be greatly missed by many. He leaves to honor his memory, his parents, John Henry Earhart and DeDee Orgeron Earhart of Lake Charles; one brother, Chris Stutes of Lake Charles; one sister, Brittany Stutes Foreman and husband Alex of Iowa; paternal grandparents, George and Marcia Wilkening Earhart of Atlanta, GA; maternal grandparents, Robert and Eva Naquin Faulk of Lake Charles; paternal great-grandparents, Harv Wilkening of Shreveport and Robert and Ruth Christianson of FL; nieces and nephews, Kaylee Stutes, Kadence Foreman, Conner Foreman, Kaden Stutes, Lincoln Craig and his niece and godchild, Kynleigh Foreman. He also leaves aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandmothers, Mildred Earhart, Dorothy Wilkening and Elna Knapp and maternal great-grandmother, Viola Naquin. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, January 26, 2015 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Charles Miller will officiate. Visitation Sunday will be from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will continue Monday from 8:00 AM until the time of service in the funeral home.
