Sadie Lois Welch Shuff, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and faithful servant of the Lord, peacefully went home to be with Jesus on 09/17/26 at the age of 93.

She passed away peacefully in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by the love of her family. After 93 years of a life filled with love, faith, service, and cherished memories, she was called home to her eternal reward.

As the devoted wife of the Rev. Dallas Shuff, she faithfully stood beside him throughout his ministry. She was much more than a pastor's wife-she was a woman of unwavering faith, a prayer warrior, a source of encouragement, and a loving presence to so many. Her gentle spirit, kind heart, and steadfast love for the Lord touched countless lives. She also spent many years as a switch board operator at southern bell, as well as touching the lives of many of the youth in her time as a lunchroom lady filling the bellies of many.

Her faith was not simply something she spoke about; it was something she lived every day. Through seasons of joy and seasons of hardship, she continued to trust in the Lord and hold firmly to her faith. She fought the good fight, finished her race, and kept the faith.

Her greatest treasures were her family and her relationship with the Lord. She loved deeply, prayed faithfully, and gave generously of herself to those around her. Her home was a place of love, warmth, prayer, and memories that her family will carry in their hearts forever.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Rev. Dallas Shuff; daughters, Roxanne Donise Chauffe and Sheila Darlene Leger; son, Ferrell Dean Shuff; and grandsons, Paul Tre Leger and Brandon Corey Shuff. She also was preceded in death by her parents, Clora Welch and Bennie Welch; and her beloved siblings, Earvin Richard, Hilda Spell, and Dorthey Pettifield, as well as the spouses of her beloved daughters and son, Donald Eugene Buller, Johnny Allen Chauffe Jr, and Melinda Faith Bergeron; and her granddaughter's husband, Ronald Lynn Smith.

She is leaving behind a beautiful legacy of love and faith through her surviving siblings; Reva Sargent and Alberta Lollar; grandchildren, Heidi Rachel Rorabaugh, Cari Donielle Smith, Cade Dallas Buller, and Morgan Jade Chauffe; great-grandchildren, Kamryn Nolen Savoy, Michael Ryan Craft, Danica Rorabaugh, Kennedy Rorabaugh, Landyn Rorabaugh, Jordyn Buller, Gatlin Whitaker, and Ayvah Chauffe; and her great great grandchildren, Willard Lane Garza and Bonita Nora Savoy, as well as the many lives she touched throughout her 93 years.

Though her family will deeply miss her presence, they find comfort in knowing that she is now resting in the arms of her Savior, reunited with loved ones who went before her, and experiencing the eternal joy she faithfully believed in.

Her earthly journey is complete.

Her race has been finished.

Her faith has become sight.

And she is finally home.

She will be lovingly remembered, deeply missed, and forever cherished.
