Samuel was born in Abbeville on December 30, 1989 to Charles Waller & Tammy Hasty Matherne. He was a graduate of Lake Arthur High School. Samuel was a self-taught artist, loved drawing & being outdoors fishing.
Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Daniel & Tammy Matherne; brothers, Charles Lane Waller & wife Tamika, David P. Touchet; sister, Desiree Chaisson & husband John; maternal grandmother, Denise Broussard & husband, Daniel; father, Charles A. Waller; paternal grandmother, Marguerite Mitchell; and Paw Paw Ricky Suire; maternal great grandmother, Garnet M. Milburn. He is preceded in death by his uncle, Billy Lawson; paternal grandfather, Popsam; maternal great grandfather, William D. Milburn.
Funeral services are Monday, August 7, 2017 at 1 p.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hayes Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday in the funeral home from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. and will resume on Monday from 8 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m.
