Sandra Carol Storey Selfridge

September 1, 1949 — October 6, 2020

Sandra Carol Storey Selfridge, 71, of Moss Bluff was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 in her residence.

Mrs. Selfridge was born on September 1, 1949 and grew up in Borger, TX.  She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  She enjoyed antiques and doing craft projects.  She served in many churches as a group leader in the program, Celebrate Recovery, for people with hurts, habits, and hang ups.  She had a heart for the homeless.  She also loved cooking and learning every Pioneer Woman recipe.  She worked many years in law enforcement and graduated top of her class; later working many years in security.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Phillip Craig Selfridge; her daughter, Emily Nance Burnworth and her husband Donald “Trey” Burnworth and their four children; and her son, Coleman Nance and wife Sky Burchett and their three children.

She is preceded in death by her father, Carroll “Dud” Lee Storey; mother, Evelyn Viola Jackson Storey; and a son, Garry Gene Nance.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 15, 2020 in the Johnson Funeral Home chapel in Moss Bluff.  A gathering will begin at 1:00 PM until the start of the service.  Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.

The family would like to express their grateful appreciation for the compassionate thoughts and prayers to her many friends and family.
